Plea to a Frozen God made the semi-finals of the Book Bloggers’ Novel of the Year Award 2025. Making the semifinals is a nice honor, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. My delusions of grandeur run deep.

"I loved this book, couldn't put it down. I loved the characters -- each flawed but each with great talents and gifts - and loved how creative they were to come up with surprising solutions to overcome challenges. Mingled in it were themes of trust and betrayal and love, and I especially enjoyed that several of the strong characters were women. The ending was very satisfactory but left open the possibility of a sequel and I hope he's working on that because I'm going to be first in line to get it!"
